Welcome to the

CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY GOLF PARTNERSHIP

County Golf Partnerships are an effective and structured way to support the development of golf within a county. The Cambridgeshire County Golf Partnership comprises the County Union, County Association and Professional Golfers Association.

Together the 3 bodies work to develop the game of golf in Cambridgeshire supported by County Development Officer John Harvey, EGU/EWGA Regional Development Officer Steven Peet, Golf Foundation Regional Development Officer, Katie Cooper, working closely with other appropriate bodies (such as the Cambridgeshire County Sports Partnership, Living Sport).

Our aims are:

Within Cambridgeshire/Cambs & Hunts to promote the game of golf and standard of play and to introduce more people into the game and into regular participation, regardless of age, gender and background.
Click here for more information on the specific objectives.

The aims will be achieved through the implementation of the 4 year Development Plan (2009 - 2013) created by a steering group made up of representatives from the partner organisations and approved by the England Golf Partnership in July 2008.
